Gjorgji Despodov (1996) is a multidisciplinary artist born in Prilep, North Macedonia and currently based in the Netherlands where he is pursuing a master’s degree in Non Linear Narrative program at the Royal Academy of Art in Hague. He works with virtual and augmented reality concepts, and the use of different digital media: video, 3D animation, and installation. His artistic practice exists between physical and digital environments, where the story is gradually revealed through carefully constructed objects. He took part in various festivals and group exhibitions in North Macedonia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Austria, China, the Netherlands, and France. During 2021, PrivatePrint Studio from Skopje published his first art book “SKIP AD” which was sponsored by Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development.
