Participating artists in PËRPARA exhibition
Dren Suldashi (1993), is passionate about music and technology. He has been involved in music since the age of 8, where he attended various guitar courses and finished the primary music school in Pristina. In the following years, Dreni completed the faculty of audio engineering and music production in Skopje, North Macedonia, where interest and curiosity for these fields developed more. Dreni has been a member of several local bands in Pristina, which include different genres of music such as rock, heavy metal, rap, ethno, electronic and many others. Dren currently works as a professor and lecturer of audio production courses at UBT (University of Business and Technology). He also deals with artworks and installations of various audio systems in art exhibitions.
Ermir Suldashi is a programmer and digital creator based in Pristina. His interests include long-term creations, “machine logic,” and the ever-stronger interface between humans and technological processes. He has musical experience since childhood and continues to integrate sound technology into everyday experiences. For Ermir, music and art are the great dramatic arena, and as a powerful psychotechnology, art is also a tool for persuading minds. In this context, Ermir’s activity invites the public to reflect on the material and digital production that is continuously absorbed, and how practices for mental hygiene can be created.
