By opening up the corporal and spiritual possibilities for alternate views in the spheres of personal, temporal, virtual and imaginary, the artists transfigure historically oppressive experiences and the conditions shaping experience, into an energetics of empowerment, agency that brings kinetic force into being. They import this thread through their artistic practices, presented here in Make me coffee make me a sandwich. The artworks unfold as a process which marks its time. Throughout the programme, art lovers discover new works, stories, sounds, spices and community rituals, which takes place in Galeria 17 and are spread to the neighborhood. The exhibition is developmental, marking the opening of each of its chapters.

The Dinner Party event comes after the opening of the exhibition, where friends, colleagues, brothers, sisters and lovers are invited to an evening in the ritual of sharing food, recipes and conversations. In this form the artistic community, the neighborhood and others meet and what unites them is the food.
