The first exhibition is part of one of the four themes of Galeria 17, Scanning the Region, this time under the curatorial concept of artist and curator Natalija Vujošević.
Six artists have been invited to reflect on existing links within a community that is seeking to centre the need for collective action and space as a field of co-production of knowledge, and living practices. This kind of artistic activity presents methodologies and tools to exercise the health of our communal energy, the relationship and position between friends, rhythms, bodies, relatives, colleagues, and lovers, in this common space.
The artworks will unfold as a process which marks its time. Throughout the programme, art lovers will discover new works, stories, sounds, spices and community rituals, which will take place in Galeria 17 and spread to the neighborhood. The exhibition will be developmental, marking the opening of each of its chapters.
